Johannesburg, South Africa - October 2023 - The Annual Leadership Conference of the Archdiocese of Johannesburg was held on 21 October. This year's conference focused on the Synod of the Synodality and featured 32 speakers. Among them were two Salesians from the Southern African Vice Province (AFM): Fr Lingoane Tlaile (Delegate for Youth Ministry), who presented a reflection on 'Youth Ministry and Synodality'; and Salesian Brother Clarence Watts (Delegate for Social Communication), who spoke on 'The Church in the Digital World: New Spaces for Communion, Participation and Mission'. Some young people from the Salesian Youth Movement in Gauteng also took part in the conference.
