Timor-Leste - October 2023 - On 14 October, the Social Communication team in the Salesian Vice-Province of Timor-Leste (TLS), organised the participation of young people and students in the final phase of the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival 2023, streamed live from Los Angeles. The theme of this second edition of the DBGYFF focuses on love that builds peace and solidarity. The students come from the São Francisco de Sales Philosophical Institute and the Escola Maria Auxiliadora Comoro. The film screening took place in the postnovitiate community and in the meeting room of the Maria Auxiliadora school. After the screening of some films, a film review was made by the students, capturing the central messages for their lives as well. The TLS Social Communication team hopes that these young people will be able to make some films to actively participate in the next DBGYFF.
