Antigua Guatemala, Guatemala - September 2023 - A Meeting of the Preferential Option and Oratories in the Salesian Province of Central America (CAM) took place from 4 to 8 September at the Posada Belén retreat house in Antigua Guatemala. This event was intended to follow up the process of animating the Preferential Option throughout Youth Ministry, as one of the Provincial options in the care of young people in situations of vulnerability and social exclusion, who are accompanied in the 26 Oratories and Youth Centres in CAM Province. Among the main objectives of the event is to continue to socialise the updated proposal of processes for young people at social risk, presenting its latest version and examining the proposed Formation Plan for the Educators and Animators in these settings.
