Valencia, Venezuela - August 2023 - More than 700 young leaders from the Salesian Youth Movement gathered in the city of Valencia, from 24 to 27 August, to take part in the National CampBosco 2023, under the theme: "With Mary, doing what Jesus asks us to do". Numerous Salesians and Daughters of Mary Help of Christians took part in the event, organised by Salesian Youth Ministry and the FMA in Venezuela. They were days of reflection, prayer and commitment, in which young people discussed how to fulfil their role as animators. This initiative sought to strengthen the bonds of communion, to continue to grow and mature in the faith. It was also an opportunity to look at the faith lived by Don Bosco, Mother Mazzarello and the young people of the first Oratory. At the end of the meeting, Fr Rafael Montenegro, Superior of the Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN), celebrated a heartfelt and moving Eucharist. Afterwards, the Delegate for Youth Ministry for the Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN), Fr Jorge Bastidas, urged the young people to go beyond their insecurities and to say a definitive 'yes' to the Lord.
