Bahia, Brazil - August 2023 - The 13th edition of the "Professions Circuit", organised by the Salesians in Bahia, was held last 26 August at Dom Bosco - Paralela. The event welcomed many students from different schools to discuss their professional future and future career opportunities. Lectures, classes, workshops and round tables with experts from different fields were held throughout the day. Participants had the opportunity to speak directly with representatives from public organisations and higher education institutions about training, skills and growth prospects when planning a career, as well as practical advice on how to be successful in finding a job and entering the market. Among the organisations invited were the Bahia State University (UNEB), the Brazilian Navy, the Brazilian Army and the Bahia Military Fire Brigade. According to Itana Suzart, educational guidance councillor at the Liceu Salesiano do Salvador, events like this provide a suitable time to make informed decisions, promoting clarity of objectives and the development of necessary skills.
