Jalisco, Mexico – July 2023 – From July 15 to 16, in the city of Guadalajara, Jalisco, the provincial assembly of the local councils of the seven areas that make up the Province of the Salesian Cooperators of Mexico North was held. It was attended by 51 local councilors who represented 35 local centers, in addition 4 delegates were present, 1 Salesian of Don Bosco and 3 Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, with them were the 12 councilors who make up the provincial council. The central theme of the meeting was “Being yeast in the life of the center”, presented by María de Lourdes Zacarías, from the center zone. During the meeting there were moments of prayer, dynamics of presentation, teamwork, plenary sessions where the importance of living and building a community in the life of the center, moments of fraternity, were noted. They also participated virtually in the II Regional Formation Meeting. The Eucharist was the key moment to unite as a family, it was celebrated by the provincial delegate, Fr. Armando Ceja.
