Vitória, Brazil – July 2023 - In the first week of July, young students from the Cesam-ES centre in Vitória had the opportunity to participate in a workshop aimed at creating audiovisual products. The occasion was developed by educators in the Marketing sector of the Salesian presence in Vitória, in order to support the production of audiovisuals for the Don Bosco Global Youth Film Festival 2023 (DBGYFF), the world-class Salesian youth film festival conceived and proposed by the Salesian Congregation's Social Communication Sector. During the workshop, held by lecturers Matheus Majone and Gislan Vitalino, the participants got to know some of the basic concepts that underpin film productions. In a practical activity, the students were also able to make a short film production in which they could apply the skills they had learnt. In addition to disseminating and explaining the parameters and requirements of the DBGYFF, the activity aimed to motivate the students to create quality audiovisual products both for personal projects and for their workspace.
