Cartago, Costa Rica – July 2023 – On 8 July, the Salesian Family and young people from the Salesian Youth Movement in Costa Rica took part in a pilgrimage to the Basilica of Our Lady of the Angels, as part of the annual visit to the country's patron saint. The pilgrimage, led by Fr Guido Maroto, National Delegate for the Salesian Family, was enlivened by moments of prayer and hymns. On arrival at the Basilica, Fr Maroto led the special prayer for the indulgence granted to pilgrims. Afterwards, after taking the official photograph, the Eucharist was celebrated by Fr Julio Navarro, Superior of the Salesian Province of Central America (CAM).
