Shillong, India - 20 July 2023 - The Annual Junior Priests meeting of the Salesian Province of Shillong (INS) was held at Siloam from July 16-19. Seventeen Junior priests working in different regions of the Province attended the meeting. Father PD Johny, the Secretary of the SPCSA, animated a programme on the theme of Management, Administration and Leadership. Father John Zosiama, the Vice Provincial, introduced the meeting on the first day, and Father Sunny Palamthattel, the SPCSA delegate for Evangelization and Mission, animated the first session on missionary orientation. The following two days’ themes, like Synodality, the National Education Policy (NEP 2020), the Salesian System of Education, particularly the Preventive Systems and how to fulfil Pope Francis ‘Laudato si’ in the Salesian educational system were animated by Father PD Johny. Father Paul Olphindro Lyngkot, the Provincial, gave a concluding talk and celebrated the concluding Eucharist on the last day of the meeting.
