The main objective of the solidarity dinner was to encourage the collaboration of companies in training participants in the Pinardi program in support of youth employment.
“First Professional Experience” offers companies the opportunity to support the cause of young people at risk by offering them the opportunity of a job, and to be recognised as agents of change in the community. Their support and collaboration contribute to making a difference in the lives of those who need it most, offering them the opportunity to access decent work opportunities and thus build a promising future.
Hilton Madrid Airport has been one of the companies that have been most committed to the training of young people in this edition of the program, and its involvement dates back to the early stages of the conception of this innovative project for youth employment. Thanks to its “Hilton Hopes” initiative, the Madrid hotel seeks to bring job opportunities in the hospitality sector to young people with social difficulties. The Pinardi-Hilton alliance is, in fact, one of the key elements of the “First Professional Experience” program and has served as a springboard for future professionals in the sector.
The solidarity dinner was an auspicious moment to reaffirm the importance of collaboration between the business sector, public administrations and social organisations to offer job opportunities to young people in vulnerable situations. During the event, participants had the opportunity to meet the young beneficiaries of the program, listen to their success stories and witness the positive impact these job opportunities have had on them. The presence of the families of the young people at the dinner was an important element, as they were able to see in person the result of the commitment and effort of their children during the training at the Hilton Madrid Airport hotel.
In addition, the different administrations that collaborate on the project and with Hilton Madrid Airport have had the opportunity to give recognition to young people for their work, to thank the collaborating companies for their involvement and the excellent work of the professionals from their companies, key figures together with the Pinardi educational tutors in the personal and professional development of young people during their training. Finally, one young man, representing all the participants, spoke about what his First Professional Experience at the Hilton Madrid Airport Hotel meant to him and what it left him with.
