Boroko, Papua New Guinea – June 2023 – A spiritual retreat was held with 26 participants including Salesians, FMA, and a sister from the Congregation of the Missionary Sisters of Mary Help of Christians (MSMHC) at the Emmaus Conference Centre from 25 to 30 June. The retreat was led by Bishop Patrick Buzon, SDB, Bishop of Bacolod, Philippines. Particularly appreciated by the participants were Bishop Buzon's talks filled with sharing his personal experience, Scripture texts and Church documents. Consecrated Life, Communion, Prayer, Serving Youth, Gospel Counsels, Spirituality of Ministry were some of the topics addressed. "The Miracle of Love" - God's love for us and our love for each other was the main theme of the retreat. It gave each participant time to rest, relax and pray. Fr Clifford Morris was the coordinator of the activities.
