Chocianów, Poland - May 2023 - From May 19-21, a youth meeting called "Oratoriada" on the theme "You are not alone" was held in Chocianów, Wrocław Province (PLO). The event was attended by more than 200 young people from Salesian oratories in Poznań, Lubin, Wrocław, Częstochowa and Tarnowskie Góry. This was the second oratory-related youth gathering this school year. It all started on Friday evening when the first groups of young people began to arrive at the elementary school in Chocianów and after dinner took part in an intense time of prayer. The Salesian "goodnight" was by Fr. Tomasz Hawrylewicz, who focused on the Salesian charism and Mary Help of Christians. The following day there were various thematic discussions and meetings on biblical, evangelization, and pastoral themes. Then the Eucharist was celebrated, with a homily by Fr. Mikołaj Wyczałek SDB, Delegate for the Youth Ministry of the PLO Province. After lunch, everyone was able to take part in recreational and sports activities, including a walk and the swimming pool option. A special moment of the "Oratoriada" was on Saturday evening, when each of the participants could present their intentions before the Blessed Sacrament. The meeting concluded with the Sunday Eucharist, presided over by Fr. Bartłomiej Polański, Superior of the PLO Province.
