Puerto la Cruz, Venezuela - A Provincial animation visit to Salesian presence of Pius XII in Puerto la Cruz took place from April 19 to 21. Fr. Rafael Montenegro, Superior of the Salesian Province of Venezuela (VEN), was able to converse with each of the Salesians of the work in an atmosphere of fraternity, encouraging them to continue accompanying the youth. During the visit, Fr. Montenegro had the opportunity to celebrate the Eucharist in the "Santa Cruz" Parish and the "Divino Niño" Parish, where he met with pastoral workers and youth. He also had the opportunity to meet with the animation leadership of the Pius XII School, where he thanked them for the work being done there for the good of the youth. In each of the meetings Fr. Montenegro highlighted the priorities of the VEN Province for the pastoral educational year 2022-2023. He was accompanied in his visit by Fr. Jorge Bastidas, Provincial Delegate for Youth Ministry, who invited the Salesians of the work to continue drawing from the sources of the Salesian charism and to believe in the potential of young people to help them grow in humanity.
