Brazil - Meeting in Campo Grande of Salesians of Quinquennium of the six Provinces of Brazil
Campo Grande, Brazil - April 2023 - From April 17 to 21, the meeting of the Salesians of the Quinquennium of the six Salesian Provinces of Brazil took place in Campo Grande: Salesian Brothers with five years of perpetual religious profession and Salesian presbyters with five years of presbyteral ordination. The first day of reflection was led by Fr. Ademir Oliveira, Director of the "São Vicente" Postnovitiate in Campo Grande, who addressed the theme of Salesian identity. The day on April 18 consisted of two intense formation sessions, led by Fr. Juan Diego, Rector of the Regional Seminary "Mary Mother of the Church" in Campo Grande, who addressed the theme of Mission in the Synodal Spirit. The formation was followed by a Eucharistic celebration in the parish of "Our Lady Help of Christians" and a fraternal agape. On the third day, the meeting was led by Fr. Nivaldo Pessinatti, former Provincial of Recife, Executive Director of the Salesian Network Brazil and Administrator of the publishing house Edebê Brasil, who elaborated on the theme of collaboration with the laity. The meeting concludes today, April 21.
