Argentina - February 2023 - This year, the Salesian Province of Argentina North (ARN) receives the Extraordinary Visit of Fr. Gianni Rolandi who will visit the Salesian presences in the Province on behalf of the Rector Major. The aim of the Extraordinary Visitation is to continue to accompany the houses of the ARN Province. This is one of the ways to ensure the continuity of Don Bosco's dream in the world. It is clear that this is a joint effort, where local communities are the protagonists. Consecrated and lay Salesians are responsible for the journey of each house as the slogan #EstáEnNuestrasManos (It is in our hands) reminds us. Fr. Gianni Rolandi arrived in the ARN Province on Feb. 11 and attended the Provincial Council and Services meetings, visited Casa Zatti, participated in the Salesian Accompaniment Project and the ACO-EFFE Salesian Cooperators' Meeting. Two weeks after his arrival, Fr. Rolandi went to his first official destination as part of the visit to the Salesian presences in the ARN Province: La Rioja, the newest house in the Province. Then on February 27, Fr. Rolandi met with the Don Bosco Oratory community in Santiago del Estero. Welcoming him were Salesians, young people from the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM) and an interdisciplinary team from various sectors. The visit continued to the neighboring province of Tucumán, where Fr. Rolandi shared three days with the SYM, the parish community, students, and educators from different levels.
