Spain - Thirty students of the Salesian Crafts Schools technical school in Lodz participated in the "Sevilla Project"
Seville, Spain – March 2023 - Thirty students of the Salesian Crafts Schools technical school in Lodz participated in the "Sevilla Project" co-financed by the European Union, which included two two-week rounds of overseas apprenticeships for IT and mechatronics specialists. For both groups, it was not only a time of intensive work, but also an opportunity to learn about Spanish culture and discover the footsteps of Don Bosco. "We are returning richer in new skills by experience. The time spent in Seville will certainly bear fruit," these were the words heard from the returning students from Spain on Sunday, March 5. Both groups met in Seville with their peers from the Colegio Salesiano Santísima Trinidad, especially since the mechatronics students had just completed their internships at the Salesian workshop. The common denominator of these meetings was, of course, the person of Don Bosco. Along with the students, four Salesians from communities in Lodz and Legionowo and four vocational teachers from the Salesian Crafts Schools in Lodz participated in the project. We encourage you to visit the project website: https://www.facebook.com/ProjektSevilla where the youngsters themselves reported on each of their days in Spain.
