Banpong, Thailand - January 2023 - The brass band of the "Sarasit Phithayalai School" in Banpong participated in the 14th International Band Competition of the "Royal Trophy League" of Thailand, held on January 7 and 8 at the "Central Plaza Shopping Mall" in Ayutthaya, winning first prize in the High School Musical Bands category. It was also a great satisfaction for all the school staff who, over the years, have always supported and encouraged the students, spurring them to enhance their musical talents, according to Don Bosco's educational style. The "Sarasit Phithayalai School" band, currently composed of 47 students and three school teachers, was founded in 1981 and has already collected several awards. In fact, it has already triumphed in the World Band Competition in London in 1998 and the World Championship in Monza in 2003.
