It is a simple and usable formation opportunity offered to Salesian communities and lay co-responsible people. In the first two years, video views reached more than 20,000 hits. The first edition delved into the Salesian sacrament of presence (Line III), while the second edition developed the consecrated identity of the Salesian in a vital relationship with Jesus (Line I). In the year 2022-23, the focus will be on the urgency of "Da mihi animas, cetera tolle" (II line).
As in previous editions, there will always be the Rector Major, Fr. Ángel Fernández Artime, to comment, deepen and explain what it means to live, in today's context, the "da mihi animas". He will do so in the interview scheduled for Saturday, December 10, 2022.
The path will also delve into "da mihi animas" declined in Salesian holiness, with Lodovica Zanet (Saturday, Nov. 12), the centrality of the Eucharist in the evangelization of young people in a charism that always seeks the "new," with Fr. Flaviano D'Ercoli (Saturday, Feb. 25), the theme of how to help young people discover the presence of Jesus Eucharist in their lives, with Fr. Roberto Carelli (Saturday, March 25), being educators in dialogue with God in the celebration of the Sacraments, with Sr. Elena Massimi (Saturday, April 15).
Also, on the occasion of the centenary of Vera Grita's birth (on Jan. 28, 1923), Fr. Pierluigi Cameroni, Postulator General for the Causes of Saints of the Salesian Family, will interview Maria Rita Scrimieri, Salesian Cooperator, Coordinator of the OTV Study Center, on the topic of "the Work of Living Tabernacles entrusted to the Salesian Congregation" (Saturday, Jan. 21). The tried-and-true format involves online training meetings in the style of an interview, with the possibility of dissecting the topic through chat questions from participants.
The meetings will be broadcast live on the YouTube channel "IME Salesians" and on the Facebook page "Don Bosco Italia" on the Saturdays indicated, from 9 a.m. to 10:15 a.m., but can also be viewed online at other times. The recipients of the meetings are all Salesians in initial and ongoing formation and members of groups of the Salesian Family who wish to experience a charismatic deepening from GC28.
