San José, Costa Rica – 29 August 2016 - During his trip to Costa Rica the Rector Major visited the tomb of Blessed Maria Romero. She was born in Granada, Nicaragua, on 13 January 1902 and died in Las Peñitas (Department of León) on 7 July 1977. Sister Maria is buried in San José, Costa Rica. It was a moment of prayer for the tenth Successor of Don Bosco and a fraternal meeting with the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians.
