Featured
Veržej, Slovenia - 1912 - On October 27, 1912, Msgr. Mihael Napotnik, then bishop of Maribor, blessed a new Salesian boarding school in Veržej, a small town in northeastern Slovenia. In this institute, many local people received their education. It then became a studentate for young Salesians from the former Austro-Hungarian Province until the end of World War I, and after that it was transformed into a secondary school and a festive oratory.
