At the invitation of the General Postulation of the Congregation, the Salesian Bulletin of Argentina has launched a website for all those who wish to know more about the splendid figure of the Salesian coadjutor brother, who was born in Italy and carried out his pastoral activity in Argentina, more precisely in Patagonia, in the south of the country.
The website is www.zatti.org. Originally, much of its content referred to the film "Zatti, hermano nuestro" (Zatti, our brother), officially released in 2020 and available for free on the YouTube platform. After the canonization announcement, Salesian Headquarters felt it necessary to create a site that would cover the totality of Zatti's person and include all possible content in different formats in order to spread his message and spiritual legacy.
"Zatti is best known to those who are part of the Salesian Family. In the case of Msgr. Scalabrini, who will be canonized together with Zatti, this is not the case, as he is known worldwide for his figure as a founder and for so many years of work among refugees and migrants," comments Fr. Ricardo Campoli, member of the Social Communications sector of the Salesian Congregation. "For this reason, it will be a great good for the Church, and especially for our Salesian Family, to use all possible means to communicate and spread the figure of Zatti, his story and that holiness manifested with simplicity and joy that so characterized him. A saint like Zatti pushes our experience as Salesians of Don Bosco toward a true evangelical and charismatic renewal."
The site is accompanied by Fr. Maciej Makula SDB, a new member of the Social Communications Sector and responsible for disseminating information about the canonization and the person of Artemide Zatti to the media.
The new space will also echo on the congregation's institutional website - www.sdb.org - and on ANS, which will be able to feed off its proposals and content. The site is being updated in Italian, Spanish, English, Portuguese and French.
