Annecy, France - August 2022 - From August 15 to 20, the Salesians of the Quinquennium of Italy and the Middle East met in Annecy for the summer formation period that last year saw them in Valdocco immersing themselves in the "quinquennium" of Don Bosco. This year's theme was partly "obligatory" in the fourth centenary of St. Francis de Sales and had been proposed years ago by the young Salesians themselves to deepen spiritual accompaniment. Two themes that were intertwined and enriched day by day during their stay in Annecy. Sixty young Salesians of the Quinquennium and the Provincial Vicars with the Provincial of Southern Italy (IME), Fr Angelo Santorsola, made the five-day journey alternating between stationary mornings under the guidance of Fr Gabriele Quinzi who developed the psychological and spiritual dynamics of accompaniment, and afternoons led by Fr Michele Molinar on the places of St. Francis de Sales in a historical-artistic and above all spiritual and pastoral reading.
