Greece - Students from a Polish Salesian school participate in Erasmus+ program workshops on climate change

Kato Alissos, Greece - August 2022 - Eight students from the Polish Salesian school "Salezjańskie Liceum z Wrocławia," together with deputy principals Magdalena Szewczyk and Anna Grzybowska, participated in Erasmus+ program workshops on climate change. The program, titled "Act Before Climate Change, Change Our Lives," took place in Greece at the Kato Alissos campsite. It included lectures on climate change, human rights, fair trade, and cultural evenings. Organizations from Cyprus, Greece, Croatia, Malta, and Portugal participated in the project. The specific objectives of the project were to strengthen the participants' European identity and awareness of the need for social participation to reduce climate change among European citizens, to encourage direct participation by young people, and to foster the adoption of a responsible attitude toward reducing energy consumption and waste.
