Badalona, Spain - May 2022 - The concluding celebration of the centenary of Salesian presence in Badalona took place on May 28, after several months dense with activities that testify to the rootedness of Don Bosco's charism in the city. On the last day of celebrations, animators of the youth center "Som-hi tots" organized an afternoon of games and recreational activities aimed at girls and boys and families of the work. Then, in the theater, the institutional act was held, with speeches by Fr. Ángel Asurmendi, Provincial of the Salesian Province "Mary Help of Christians (SMX); Mr. David Torrents, Municipal Councilor for Social Affairs; Fr. Isidre Serdà, Rector of the Salesian work of Badalona; and representing all the staff, the former pupil and current teacher and Director of the Youth Center, Marina Trepat. After the speeches, several artistic performances were held. The day ended with a Eucharistic celebration in the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians.
