Uvira, DR Congo - June 2022 - Last June 7, the Rectors of the Salesian communities of the AFC-EST Delegation met in the community of St. Dominic Savio in Uvira, on the shores of Lake Tanganyika, for an evaluation and programmatic session. The meeting was held in the presence of Fr. Aurélien Mukangwa, SDB, Provincial Delegate for AFC-EST, and his Council. Next July, the Delegation will celebrate its first year of its existence - a year in which community animation structures have been strengthened and committees have remained consistently active despite difficulties. At this meeting, planning focused on finding new and appropriate solutions to the challenges facing the Salesian mission in this young Delegation.
