Kraków, Poland - May 2022 - On May 29, on the initiative of the Salesian Missionary Volunteers "Młodzi Światu" (SWM) of Kraków, the Salesian Province PLS, and in cooperation with the municipalities of Jabłonka and Lipnica Wielka, the XXIst edition of the event "Orawa for the Children of Africa" was held, linked to a charitable purpose. Once again this year the generosity of the inhabitants of the Orawa region did not disappoint. Volunteers, accompanied by Salesian priests, went to the 12 parishes in Orawa and, during Masses, offered their testimonies, asking for support for children in Chad. The project plans to provide meals for the children for the next few months and to build two water pumps on the school and kindergarten grounds so that the children have access to clean water.
