"A free man, a lover of life, always eager to discover new things, in love with Jesus and Don Bosco, attentive to the young people most in need, and a vocational animator par excellence through his daily testimony, Father Bruno was until his last breath an authentic witness to the resurrection, a lover of life, proud of his love story with Jesus and Don Bosco," the Provincial added.
Born in Carpi, Modena, in 1920, and raised in Treviso, he made his Novitiate in Portici, where he made his first profession on August 16, 1946; made his perpetual vows on July 1, 1950, at Bagnolo Piemonte; and was ordained a priest on December 20, 1952, in Soverato.
In his long life and religious career, he held numerous positions: we recall, in particular, those as Rector, at Castellammare di Stabia (1981-82), in Lecce (1982-88), and as Rector of the Generalate in Rome (1990-96). For the IME Province, he also served as Provincial Economer (1972-1981).
