Argentina - May 2022 - During the last week of April and the first week of May, the Provincial Delegation for Social Communication of Southern Argentina led various meetings in different pastoral areas with the heads and communication teams of the Salesian houses. Meetings were held on April 26 with the heads of the Comahue region; on April 29 with those in the Patagonia Nord and Patagonia Austral regions, and on May 5 with those responsible for houses in the Buenos Aires region. The meeting’s objective was to introduce the new Delegate of Social Communication (SC), Nicolás Mirabet, to deepen the reality of communication in the works, and to reflect on the importance of communication in the Church and in the Salesian Congregation. For the second half of the year, the SC Provincial Delegation of Southern Argentina plans to carry out a series of training sessions on specific topics to be defined according to the needs of each Salesian house.
