He was welcomed with a wreath of flowers at the border of Ebebeyin by the educational and pastoral community of Micomeseng. After this warm welcome, the Rector Major went to the bishop’s house of Ebebyin where he was able to greet some members of the diocesan curia and pray with them inside the chapel. As he arrived in Micomeseng, he was first welcomed by the city authorities and then received a welcome from the president of the parish pastoral council. The Rector Major thanked all those present for the warm hospitality extended to him. He also expressed his gratitude to God for the opportunity to visit to the Salesian communities in Equatorial Guinea and exhorted the all present to have a special concern for poor and abandoned young people. After the evening vespers, he addressed the whole community and then had dinner with them, in an atmosphere of warmth and sincere fraternity.
After his visit to Micomeseng, this morning the Rector Major arrived at Bata, where he was welcomed by the Salesian Family, young people and the faithful.
