Twenty-four years after its foundation, today it is possible to contemplate an institution consolidated in its history, with a vocation of service to Bolivian youth and society in general. Proof of this is its presence in eight regions of Bolivia: Cochabamba, Camiri, Monteagudo, Santa Cruz, San Carlos, Yapacani, Yacuiba and the central region of La Paz.
Also, the USB is part of the articulated network of Salesian Institutions of Higher Education (IUS), which brings together 94 universities, university centers, faculties, colleges, and institutes of higher education located in 22 countries on 5 continents: educational centers that - just like the USB - are active and flourishing, fully rooted in the Salesian identity and a priority commitment aimed at helping young people in difficulty.
In its "Teaching-Learning" processes, the USB has been able to treasure in these years the richness brought by information technologies, with great results that are continuously promoted and evaluated, while being - at the same time - always inspired and faithful in its ideals to the Salesian Pedagogical Model.
In its continuous quest to ensure a quality academic ecosystem, USB has moved from a traditional institutional model to one centered on processes; and it has obtained the ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 21001:2018 Quality Management System certifications awarded to it by the accreditation body TÜV Rheinland, which place it in the ranks of universities with a high level of quality.
In this perspective, in the permanent search for the transformation of society through knowledge, the Salesian University of Bolivia permanently responds to the continuous demand for Technology. With 24 years of consolidated experience, the Salesian University of Bolivia is an institution at the service of Bolivian youth and society in general.
