Tiruchy, India - January 2022 - The eighth Provincial Chapter of the Salesians of Tiruchy (INT) was inaugurated at the Shrine of Our Lady of Velankanni on Monday 10 January with a solemn Eucharist and an inaugural session presided over by the Bishop Emeritus of Sivagangai, Msgr. Dr Susaimanickam. The Provincial Chapter, which has as its theme "The Mission of loving the young", was officially declared open by the Superior of the Salesian Province of Tiruchy, Fr Agilan Sarprasadam, and will be moderated by the Provincial Vicar, Fr Arul Maran.
