Lubumbashi, D.R. Congo - November 2021 - After a week of visit to the "St Joseph of the East" Delegation in the Democratic Republic of Congo, on Sunday 14 November, Fr Stefano Martoglio, Vicar of the Rector Major, arrived in Lubumbashi. Accompanied by a delegation made up of Fr Tryphon Kalimira, Vicar of the AFC Province, Fr Aurélien Mukangwa, AFC-EST Delegate, and three Salesian Rectors, Fr Martoglio was welcomed at the international airport of Luano by Fr Guillermo Basañes, AFC Provincial, Fr Édouard Mutale, AFC Economer, and some members of the Provincial Council. Subsequently, Fr Martoglio reached the Provincial House, where some members of the Salesian Family were waiting for him. There, after the welcome by Fr Gauthier Tshibangu, Rector of the House, as well as the Provincial Secretary, Fr Martoglio thanked the Provincial Council for the welcome and conveyed the greetings of the Rector Major, Fr Ángel Fernández Artime.
