Vitória, Brazil - October 2021 - With great joy, music and festivities, the Salesian presence in Vitória welcomed the Extraordinary Visitor, the Regional Councilor for the America South Cone Region, Fr Gabriel Romero, from 1 to 4 October. During his stay, the Regional Councilor spoke with various groups such as: the educators of the Salesian presence in Vitória, the students of the Salesian institutes "Jardim Camburi", "Nossa Senhora da Vitória", the Salesian University Center - "Unisales" and Cesam-ES - and with the young people of the festive oratory. Furthermore, he presided over the Mass and blessed the Salesian Family. The Pastoral Coordinator, Luiz Fernando de Oliveira, SDB, said that the visit of Fr Romero aroused a feeling of gratitude and encouragement: “His words addressed to educators and young people aroused a feeling of gratitude for being part of this widespread family worldwide.
