Brazil - September 2021 - The National Meeting of the Rectors of Salesian Communities, organized by the National Formation Commission (CNF), took place online on 20-21 September. Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, Fr Gabriel Romero, Councilor for the America South Cone Region, the Provincials Fr Nivaldo Pessinatti (BRE), Fr Ricardo Carlos (BCG), and Fr Justo Piccinini (BSP) participated in the meeting along with the Rectors. The manual of the Rector titled: “Animating and Governing the Community. The Ministry of the Salesian Rector”, was presented by Fr Coelho and Fr Francisco Santos, from the formation department at Generalate. This was followed by a time for reflection and debate to better understand the importance and necessity of the commitment of every Salesian in building a Salesian community according to the heart of Don Bosco. It was also possible to share the realities and situations experienced by the Salesians in Brazil.
