Pune, India - September 2021 - The Salesian community of Don Bosco Youth Center, Pune, organized a meeting on 5 September for the young people of the diocese of Pune to celebrate the beginning of the "Season of Creation". During the moment of prayer, the participants each made a personal commitment to care for and preserve Creation. Fr Ian Doulton urged everyone to do their part for the good of the planet, doing little things that would have a big impact. Fr Vivian D’Souza then illustrated the reality of the Salesian Youth Movement (SYM), sharing its history, purpose and relevance for today's young people. Interactive games were also played and snacks served. Furthermore, to raise people’s awareness to the "Season of Creation", the "Tent of Abraham" was planted on the lawn in front of the Salesian youth center.
