There will be two central moments of the day: at 7:00 (UTC + 2), the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by the Rector Major emeritus, Fr Pascual Chávez Villanueva; and at 9:30 am, the Official Opening of the General Chapter.
Speaking of the Chapter, Mother Yvonne Reungoat, Mother General of the FMA, said: “It is an experience of faith and continuous discernment, to listen with a free and available heart to the calls of God present in history ... We feel the responsibility to build the basis of the world of tomorrow with young people and young women."
The 172 participants in the Chapter, coming from all continents, shall be called to explore and discuss the theme: “’Do whatever He tells you’”(Jn 2,5). Communities that generate life in the heart of the contemporary world”.
The Mass and the Official Opening of the General Chapter will be broadcast live on the institutional channels of the sisters: FACEBOOK - YOUTUBE.
