Panama City, Panama - July 2021 - The "Don Bosco Technical Institute" presented the "Faith and Hope Project" on 12 July to the Minister of Education of Panama, Dr. Maruja Gorday de Villalobos, and her work team. The project, presented by Dr. Victor Costella, Coordinator of the new Center for Technical and Vocational Training "San Juan Bosco", aims to train teachers and students of the official vocational and technical schools (IPT) in various sectors: autotronics, mechatronics, industrial design and graphic arts, which will allow young people to quickly enter the world of work. The "Faith and Hope Project" will be developed in four important phases with the accompaniment of the instructors and teachers of the IPT: professional technical training for young people with disabilities, knowledge management for sustainable development, professional technical training for entrepreneurs and school reintegration for young people at risk. The project will be carried out in person in class, but also in part-time and virtual mode via the Classroom and Microsoft Teams platforms.
