In the first part of the morning, after the prayer, together with Fr René Santos the Commission worked on the advancement of the ESA Identity Card, which aims to be a common point of reference for the construction of the pastoral educational projects of the Salesian Family schools on the continent. The purpose of this document will be to help form a critical conscience and transform societies starting from the Salesian proposal of integral formation.
Later, together with Sr. Patricia Parraguez and Sergio Garay, from Chile, they worked on the document on strategic planning, based on the four axes that emerged from the fourth ESA meeting (ESA IV), namely: attention to educational needs of the pupils of the Salesian schools; ongoing formation of educators; qualification of the pastoral educational proposal; and institutional management.
Finally, the participants also worked on the significance of the Salesian school which seeks to advance in a system of quality assurance in schools.
All these documents, the fruit of the work of the commissions, seek to promote identity, networking and synergy in favor of the thousands of children, adolescents and young people who attend the approximately 900 schools - of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, the Salesians of Don Bosco, the Daughters of the Divine Savior and the Daughters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary - who are part of the ESA network.
