During this event, Fr Tórrez Sanjinés said he was very happy and grateful to receive the generous donation from the Japanese people, which will be used to equip the workshops of the Gastronomy area of the “C.E.A. Don Bosco” in the city of La Paz and thus form young people with scarce economic resources through technical training.
The aim of the work is and will be to make young people develop their skills and competences, in line with the needs of the labor market, to obtain their professional integration and thus improve their living conditions and those of their families and communities.
The project provides for an important donation of almost 21,000 euros to equip the workshops of the CEA gastronomic area, funds that will be used for the acquisition of refrigerators and freezers, industrial kitchens, gas ovens, pans and crockery, industrial blenders, industrial mixers, stainless steel dishwashers and in-line fans.
For over 20 years, since 2000, the Embassy of Japan has been helping EPDBs through the "Non-Refundable Financial Cooperation Program for assistance to human security community projects A.P.C".
