Ho Tram, Vietnam - November 2020 - The annual meeting of the Salesian Brothers of the Vietnam Province (VIE) took place on 6 and 7 November. 39 Salesian brothers took part in the event, led by Fr Joseph Do Duc Dung, one of the Novitiate Masters, and Fr Joseph Am, Provincial Vicar. The first day began with video messages made for the occasion by the General Economer of the Salesian Congregation, Salesian Brother Jean Paul Muller, by Fr Ivo Coelho, General Councilor for Formation, and by Fr Václav Klement, Extraordinary Visitor “ad nutum” and “pro tempore”. Then the theme “The Salesian Brother in the times of technology 4.0” was introduced, the new leader was voted, and each shared their experiences of Salesian life. Fr Joseph Do Duc Dung spoke of consecrated laity in the history of the Church and in the Salesian Congregation. The second day began with Lectio Divina and Mass and continued with various recreational activities.
