Based on the principles of Solidarity Economy, the project has two major objectives: on the one hand, to create an economic network that involves all those who gravitate around the institute - pupils and their families, teachers and managers, collaborators, past pupils ... - so that they can carry out commercial transactions with each other and support each other; on the other hand, it also intends to implement a training course and preventive measures and preparation for the economic crisis which, due to the Covid-19 pandemic and the reduction of money circulating, is expected to hit the city of Campos in the coming months.
In the project's first phase, each participant shall receive a link to a digital form that will allow them to learn about the profiles of the members of the Salesian Family of Campos and of other local collaborators in greater detail. An online catalog will then be produced where each interested enterprise will be able to present and offer - at no cost - its own products. The local Salesian Family's social networks shall then be used for advertising to the small and medium firms that are members.
In the second and third phases, the project shall instead focus on the presentation of round tables and workshops led by professionals and specialized companies in the sector. They will share content to help small and medium-sized entrepreneurs redesign their company plans given the difficulties expected.
The project relies on the support of various trade associations in the city and on sharing content to promote the democratization of knowledge, the main communication vehicle of the city and the region.
In this way, the Don Bosco de Campos Institute makes its presence felt in the world of social commitment, considering it its duty, by charism and vocation, to accompany and help citizens in a time of general difficulties.
