Ecuador - Kerly, a little girl who scours Manta City in search of food for her family
Manta, Ecuador - May 2016 - In spite of the fear of recurring earthquakes, Kerly Cabrera, a girl of 11 years, mounted her bicycle and raced through the streets of the suburb of the city of Manta in search of food for her family. After the earthquake on April 16, most of members of her family, were left without work and Kerly did not hesitate to go out and look for places where aid was distributed. With her collections she supported about 10 people. The professors of the Salesian College of San Jose of Manta, who assisted the people in need around the neighborhood, had it provided Kerly with a bag full of packed food and water.
