Malta – November 2024 - Nurturing hearts through loving kindness and reason is at the heart of the Salesian educational approach. This philosophy was the driving force behind 'Nurturing Hearts', an Erasmus+ course designed to inspire youth workers to apply methods based on the principles of Salesian education in a non-formal environment. Hosted by the "Friends of Don Bosco" of Malta, the course welcomed participants from Hungary, Ukraine, Georgia, Spain, Denmark, Italy, Germany and the Netherlands, uniting them in a shared mission to create safe and transformative spaces for young people. During the course, the participants explored five spaces to nourish in the life of a young person: home, school, playground, church and theatre. Together, these spaces lay the foundation for a supportive and empowering learning environment. The event also took participants on a journey of self-discovery through the Enneagram's personality types (the system is a map that describes personality according to nine main models), guiding participants towards a greater understanding of both themselves and others. Through interactive workshops, participants learned how the Salesian approach emphasises the importance of relationships, values and presence in education. By the end of this course, one message was clear: through happiness and understanding, education can be uniquely personalised for each individual. The enthusiasm and active commitment of all those involved made this experience truly unforgettable.

Nairobi, Kenya – November 2024 - 11 November marked a significant milestone for the Salesian Province of East Africa (AFE), as it celebrated the 150th anniversary of Don Bosco's first missionary expedition. The event, held at the Shrine of Mary Help of Christians, which houses the relic of Don Bosco, was of particular importance given that there are currently 45 missionaries actively serving in the region, which includes Kenya, Sudan and South Sudan. The celebration involved the Superiors of the Province of North West Africa (AON), the Vice-Provinces of Angola (ANG), Zambia-Malawi-Zimbabwe-Namibia (ZMB), Madagascar (MDG), Africa Congo Congo (ACC), Equatorial Tropical Africa (ATE), and the ViceProvincial of the Africa Nigeria Niger Province (ANN). Their presence coincided with the launch of the Global Program II, an initiative launched by Don Bosco Tech Africa. The events of the day began with Lectio Divina, followed by a short video highlighting the missionary activities that spread the charism of Don Bosco throughout East Africa. This was completed by the presentation of the province mission animation plan, which aims to strengthen the commitment of the Congregation in its missionary dimension. There was also the "goodnight" from the Provincial.

Tellier, Argentina – November 2024 - With faith in God and great emotion, the Community Centre and Chapel named "Don Artémides Zatti" was inaugurated on Saturday 9 November in Tellier, in the Department of Puerto Deseado.
