(ANS - Turin) - In one of the Masses celebrated yesterday morning, 31 January, at Valdocco, Fr Bruno Ferrero, SDB, recalled a poem and said: "Don Bosco is still alive. Do not tell me that Don Bosco is dead. He is on the streets, in the suburbs and schools. Wherever there is a young person, Don Bosco is there." Then, in a later Mass, Archbishop Nosiglia of Turin, spoke of Don Bosco as a deeply merciful man because he was a saint who devoted his life to saving those in need

Mexico City, Mexico - March 2016 – The meeting of the Youth Ministry Team of the Province of Mexico City (MEM) which took place on 2 March, focused on the Salesian Provincial Educative Pastoral Plan. The meeting was chaired by Fr Paulo Armando Morales, Provincial Delegate for MEM, with the participation of Fr Martín Lasarte from the Missions Department, contact person for America and for the Salesian Voluntary Service.

Batulao, Philippines - March 2016 - The meeting of the Superiors of the Provinces and Delegations of the East Asia-Oceania region continued on 8 March with reports on the various situations in the region; the presentation of the book on the Formation of Salesians in Social Communication, the result of collaboration between the two Departments; and the latest indications of the Rector Major on the Salesian mission, animation and government, and collaboration with the laity. On the morning of 9 March, the Rector Major left for the start of a Visit to the Southern Philippines. The meeting of Provincials and Superiors, however, continues until Friday 11 March, with discussion with the Councillors for Youth Ministry, Social Communication and Salesian Missions.
