Around 350 participants are expected to attend the Spirituality Days of the Salesian Family this year. After the morning reception, on the afternoon of the first day there will be the welcome of the Provincial of the Special Circumscription of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta (ICP), Fr Enrico Stasi; an introduction to the Days, moderated by Fr Eusebio Muñoz, Delegate of the Rector Major for the Salesian Family; a moment of reflection and prayer by the "Adonai Group"; and the official presentation of the Strenna 2020 by the Rector Major.
On Friday morning, the bishop of Mallorca (Spain), Msgr. Sebastià Taltavull, shall lead a conference on the theme "Good Christians in the current city context", followed by moments of reflection in groups and the Eucharist. In the afternoon, several testimonies are expected from the Salesian oratory of Aleppo and of several Salesian Cooperators and Past Pupils of Don Bosco. The day will culminate with a prayer vigil in the Basilica of Mary Help of Christians.
Saturday 18 will open with a round table with several members of various groups of the Salesian Family; its theme: "Upright citizens with a Salesian spirit today." This will be followed by Mass for all. The afternoon shall be dedicated to discovering the city of Turin through itineraries on the traces of the so-called social saints of the 19th century. In the evening, in full Salesian style, there will be a large family celebration.
On the last day, Sunday 19, after the Eucharist in the Basilica, the Rector Major will summarize the work of the days together and offer his final message.
Those who cannot physically participate in the Spirituality Days will be able to do it "virtually", thanks to the live broadcast of the main moments via the ANS Facebook page.
