In the photo, which is dated 1950 and was presented at the “Charity Photographic Exhibition” organized in Turin on the occasion of the Holy Year, a priest is seen in the middle, with a group of musicians. The Salesians were in charge of the parish, which was attended by about 10.000 faithful and looked after 6.000 sick people. In the town of Guaramayo they also ran a school for 450 healthy children, born to people suffering from Hansen Disease.
