India – 8th Salesian Brothers Congress of South Asia

(ANS – Bangalore) – The 8th Salesian Brothers Confreres of South Asia, began in the evening of Sunday, 30th December, with the Inaugural session in DBSM Bangalore. Bishop George Rajendra sdb was the Chief Guest & Presided over the Eucharistic Celebration. The meeting is scheduled till next Thursday, 3 January.

During the first morning, today, 31 December, the keynote address was given by Bro. Jean-Paul Muller the Economer General. The second session was by Bro. Abraham M. Antony, on “Salesian be a faithful witness”. The third session of the day was by Fr Ivo Coelho, the Councillor in charge of Formation. He touched on “Post novitiate formation & on Holy Salesian Brothers”.

Moreover, “Don Bosco Publications” released its new book “Gospel Stories as you never heard before” volume 2 authored by Fr. Maria Arockiam Kanaga sdb, at DBSM - Bangalore during the 8th National Brothers Congress. The book was released by Fr. Ivo Coelho the General Councillor for Formation, and the first copy was received by Bro. Jean Paul Muller, the Economer General.
