With the patronage of the National Office for Social Communications of the Italian Episcopal Conference (CEI), AOI - International Cooperation and Solidarity, and with the support of Confindustria, Non Profit Social Comm is the answer to the demand for greater skills dedicated to the communication of those who work for the common good.
The proposal came about for two reasons: firstly, the awareness that in the non-profit sector it is necessary to invest more in communication in all its possible forms, if you want to drive development and social innovation; and then the need to train social communication managers, multidisciplinary professionals who can take on top or more operational roles, who have acquired the necessary technical skills, without forgetting the knowledge that allows them to work in delicate contexts and on complex issues.
The Masters course will start on 14 February 2025 and end in February 2026 and includes 45% online classes (in synchronous and asynchronous mode), and 55% in person at the FSC in Rome. The mixed formula aims to meet the needs of those who are already engaged in work, but allowing them not to give up the possibility of creating a community, oriented to the common good, which is enriched thanks to moments of lively exchange and sharing of experiences and perspectives.
Hence project work will be proposed directly by the many partners of the initiative (third sector entities active in different areas), in addition to the presence of illustrious names of organisations and communication operators. Among the latter, in particular are Edoardo Patriarca, former spokesperson of the National Forum of the Third Sector; Gregorio Arena, President emeritus of "Labsus - Laboratory for Subsidiarity"; Michelangelo Tagliaferri, President of the Milan Academy of Communication; Marco Carnevale, Creative Director of "YES I AM"; Stefano Maria Palombi, Creative Director of stefanopalombi.com, former author of the CEI advertising campaigns for the 8x1000; Flavia Trupia, linguist, author and speaker of "Per La Retorica"; Paolo Restuccia, author of the famous RAI radio program "Il roar del coniglio"; and Fr Camillo Ripamonti, SJ, Director of the "Centro Astalli".
In particular, "Non Profit Social Comm" will guide the participants in exploring some of the following topics: ETS contexts and regulations; social marketing and public relations strategies and techniques for communication, information and fundraising; enhancement of sensitivity, relational capacity and listening to promote internal and external communication; processes of innovation, originality, narration that increase the impact in the field of social communication.
Those who register by 29 November 2024 will be able to take advantage of a 30% discount.
