The authors of this singular initiative come from different countries and study in different countries; they are very different from each other, but have the same purpose in life: they want to serve God in the style of Don Bosco. Although they have never met all together, in person, thanks to digital opportunities they have managed to create a common project, the fruits of which can now be seen.
In fact, starting from Friday 1st May, until Saturday 9th, Salesian-inspired points of reflection are shared through social networks. "Always be cheerful ... The Devil is afraid of cheerful people"; "Do your best with your duties"; "Trust in Mary Help of Christians"; "Be an upright citizen" ... These are the titles of the videos already published on this project, coordinated by the Salesians of the Theological Studentate of Krakow, Poland.
They invited their confreres from other continents to participate in this project. Together they decided to reread some of Don Bosco's most famous tips which are even more significant in the context of the pandemic. The effect is truly impressive.
The production of these nine videos led to the creation of an "international community" among the young Salesians in formation, who collaborated with a sense of responsibility and apostolic zeal for the choice of themes, recording, presentations, translations ... All always looking, like Don Bosco, to the true recipients of the initiative: young people from all over the world.
The videos of the cycle "9 Don Bosco's advice in the time of pandemic" are presented every day on the Facebook page of the Salesian Theological Studentate of Krakow "Łosiówka" in three languages: English, Italian and Polish.
