Myanmar - Visit of Salesian Cardinal Charles Bo to "Nazareth House"
Anisakan, Myanmar - January 2020 - On January 27, Salesian cardinal Charles Bo, Archbishop of Yangon, visited the Salesian "Nazareth House", accompanied by Fr Charles Saw, Provincial of the Salesian Vice Province of Myanmar, and Fr Nirmol Gomez, Provincial of the Calcutta Province. The Salesian Cardinal was welcomed by the songs performed by the 166 children, 8 Salesians and 6 young lay volunteers who form the community. During his greeting, Cardinal Bo stressed that many young people who attend the "Nazareth House" become truly good Christians, some also Salesians, such as the coadjutor bishop of Lashio, Msgr. Lucas Dau Ze, SDB, who studied in the aspirantate of the "Nazareth House". He also urged young people to do their best every day, keeping their hearts always joyful.
